Dr Murli Manohar who is the producer of Kochadaiyaan confirmed the news saying, "What's the rush? Yes, we have postponed the release. We are no longer coming during Diwali." He said that Kochadaiyaan is Rajini's first release after his sickness and we all want it to be perfect. "We just want to make sure Kochadaiyaan is perfect in every way," he added.
